The RCS Caring Steps Children's Center serves children from six weeks through age five, with the quality, care, and teaching that our families have grown to expect from Rochester Community Schools.

Highlights include:

Year-round, extended-hour childcare for infants, toddlers and preschool students
6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. availability
Fully licensed, secure facility
Open during inclement weather
Educational philosophy follows the HighScope Curriculum and is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach
Flexible scheduling with two, three, four and five-day options
