STEAM Room
Our STEAM room enables children to investigate the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, and music. Microscopes, x-rays, and our miniature greenhouse are just a few of the items allowing for science exploration. Specialized blocks and mazes introduce engineering skills, and cooking time promotes an understanding of numbers. The arts can be explored by drawing on our gigantic chalkboard wall, and music can be created using bongo drums and other instruments. Technology is also utilized in a variety of ways. Children will work on tablets and computers and even use cameras. All of these opportunities are in addition to our well-equipped classrooms, which further enhance STEAM education.

Rochester Hills Public Library Blue Bus Bookmobile
Toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten-prep children can enjoy biweekly visits from the RHPL Blue Bus where they will sing songs and experience additional story time with the librarian. Children will also be encouraged to choose a book from the Bookmobile library to keep at school and read with friends. 

Outdoor Play Area
RCS Caring Steps Children’s Center has beautiful new play structures that allow our children to explore the outdoors on a daily basis. Children can also take guided nature walks on our recently renovated bridge, which includes Plexiglas so children have an opportunity to observe our natural surroundings.
